Boletin de la clase, Sra. DeHaro Vega   ¿Qué  estamos haciendo en la escuela? La semana pasada, los niños aprendieron sobre el reciclaje. Aprendieron cómo separar la basura y colocarla en los contenedores de reciclaje apropiados. Están aprendiendo que el reciclaje ayuda a reducir la basura que tiramos al los vertederos.  Los niños siguen haciendo proyectos reciclados. Les han encantado hacer instrumentos y tocarlos en el centro de música. ¡Gracias a los Padres del Salón por organizar las fiestas de San Valentín! ¡A los niños les encantó su fiesta y se divirtieron mucho! Los niños están practicando el siguiente vocabulario en español e inglés : plástico/plastic, papel/paper, metal/metal, vidrio/glass,  composta/compost Recordatorios 21 de febrero - 22 de febrero 2018, Feria de libros en el gimnasio de la escuela. 21 de febrero 2018: Día de Pijama y noche de lectura para la familia. 21 de febrero 2018: Noche de lectura para la familia: 3:30-5:30. Venga a comprar libros en nuestra feria de libros. El músico y autor Jim Gill realizará un concierto familiar de 4:00 to 5:00. 22 de febrero 2018: Viste como tu personaje de libro favorito.

Mrs. DeHaro Vega’s Class Newsletter   What are we doing? Last week, the children learned about recycling. They learned how to separate the garbage and place it in the appropriate recycling bins. They are learning that recycling helps reduce the garbage that we throw in the landfills. The children are still making recycled art projects and they are enjoying playing with them. The children like making instruments and playing with them at the music center. Thank you to the Room Parents for organizing the Valentines Parties! The children loved their party and had so much fun! The children are practicing the following vocabulary in Spanish and English: plástico/plastic, papel/paper, metal/metal, vidrio/glass, composta/compost Reminders The Weather: Please send your child with snow pants and snow boots every day to be able to go outside. Boletin de la clase, Sra. DeHaro Vega   ¿Qué  estamos haciendo en la escuela? La semana pasada, los niños siguieron aprendiendo como pueden reusar/reutilizar diferentes cosas que ya no necesitan. En vez de tirar libros, ropa y juguetes pueden donarlos a niños o niñas que no tienen muchos libros, ropa y juguetes. También, aprendieron que los desperdicios de la comida igualmente se pueden reusar para hacer composta con tierra. En la clase estamos guardando los desperdicios de la merienda para reusarlos en el jardín de la escuela. Los niños están practicando este vocabulario en español e inglés : reciclar/recycle, reutilizar/reutilize, reducir/reduce, donar/donate, vertedero/landfill, composta/compost Recordatorios El Clima: Porfavor, manden su hijo/a con pantalón de nieve y botas de nieve para poder salir afuera todos los días. 14 de febrero 2018, Fiestas del Día de San Valentín: Los niños se pueden vestir de rojo o rosa. Los niños pueden traer tarjetas de San Valentine para pasar.  Por favor, no le pongan el nombre de los estudiantes a las tarjetas y no manden dulces. Instead of throwing away books, clothes and toys they can donate them.  They also learned that food waste can also be reused to make compost. In our classroom, we are saving the wastes from snack and will place them in the school garden. Boletin de la clase, Sra. DeHaro Vega   ¿Qué  estamos haciendo en la escuela? La semana pasada, empezamos la nueva unidad sobre reciclaje. Los niños y niñas aprendieron que pueden reutilizar  muchas cosas en su casa en vez de tirar lo a la basura y poder reducir la cantidad de basura que va al vertedero.  En la clase los niños reutilizaron material y hicieron  casas, guitarras, contenedores para guardar colores y otros instrumentos.  Igualmente, estamos aprendiendo una nueva canción Reducir, Reutilizar y Reciclar que es muy chida y les enseña a los niños como cuidar y proteger el Planeta Tierra. The children learned that they can reuse many things in their home instead of throwing it away. This helps reduce the amount of garbage that goes to the landfill. In class, the children reused or reutilized  material and made houses, guitars, containers to store crayons, and other instruments.  Also, we are learning a new song in Spanish Reducir, Reutilizar y Reciclar that is very cool and teaches the children how to protect and care for our Planet Earth. Boletin de la clase, Sra. DeHaro Vega   ¿Qué  estamos haciendo en la escuela? La semana pasada, los niños aprendieron sobre el arte en papel de México. Los niños están cortando diferente figuras en el papel y haciendo Papel picado. A los niños les encanto cortar diferentes formas y ver la sorpresa al final.  El papel picado se usará para decorar el gimnasio para nuestra presentación el 26 de enero. Gracias por todos los maravillosos regalos que nos regalaron.  ¡Los estamos disfrutando durante esta fría temporada de invierno! Los niños están practicando este vocabulario en español e inglés : papel/paper, piñata/piñata, pegamento/glue, arte/art, decorar/decorate Recordatorios -6 de enero: ¡Lanzamiento de iRead! ¡Lee, lee, lee y agrega tus minutos! -La Unidad de Yoga comenzará la próxima semana para los niños. Tendrán un día extra de         gimnasio los jueves por 5 semanas solamente. -11 de enero de 2018 de 3; 30-4: 30PM. Esta clase de yoga es un evento familiar. Por favor mande   su reservación si gustan asistir. -12 de enero de 2018,  Salida temprana: los estudiantes de PM asistiran por la mañana. Mrs. DeHaro Vega’s Class Newsletter   What are we doing? Last week, the children learned about paper art from Mexico. The children made paper art called Papel picado. They have to fold tissue paper and cut different shapes and when they unfold it there is a special design!  The children enjoyed cutting different shapes and seeing the surprise at the end. The paper art will be used to decorate the gym for our class assembly on January 26th. Thank you for all the wonderful gifts we received this Holiday Season. We are enjoying them all on these very cold days! Thank you! The children are practicing the following vocabulary in Spanish and English: papel/paper, piñata/piñata, pegamento/glue, arte/art, decorar/decorate Reminders -January 6, 2018: iRead Kick Off! Read, read, read and add your minutes! -Yoga Unit will start next week for the children.
