¡Marque su calendario!
8 de febrero: Regrese el calendario sombreado junto con las monedas el día 8 de febrero.
¡Apoye a la fundación del distrito escolar 112 con el evento de iRead! Por favor lea con su niño/a y coloree/sombree el calendario los días leídos. Puede contribuir con algunas monedas por cada libro leído. Si necesita otra copia extra del calendario de iRead, déjenos saber.

La próxima semana las maestras estarán compartiendo a través de Teaching Strategies (TSG), con los padres de familia los resultados de una pequeña evaluación de patrones dada a los niños. Si por alguna razón usted no recibe una notificación del portal de TSG, déjenos saber.

En el mes de febrero comenzaremos nuestra unidad de los robots. Les pedimos que por favor manden materiales de reciclaje tales como tubos de servilletas, y de papel de baño cajas de zapatos y cereales, tapas de refresco, jugos etc, etc...
Enfoque de la semana …
¿Que tipo de ropa debemos ponernos durante el invierno? (Continua)
Ciencias naturales: Practicamos a formar un muñeco haciendo bolas de nieve afuera. Hablamos de lo que sucede cuando no tienes los guantes apropiados al tocar la nieve.
Matemáticas: Continuamos practicando a reconocer cantidades instantáneamente en grupos de cinco o más objetos. También estamos aprendiendo a crear/copiar secuencias AAB-AAB.
Ayude a su niño/a a...
Dibujar un muñeco de nieve. Pregunte lo siguiente: ¿cuántas círculos necesitan para formar el cuerpo (3)?, ¿cuántas ramas necesitan para formar los brazos (2)?, ¿cuántos botones (5)?, ¿cuántas narices (1)?, ¿cuántos puntos para la boca (4)?. Anime a su niño/a que represente cada cantidad con los dedos.

We need your help!
In the month of February, we will begin our unit on robots. We need your help with a special project. Please send recycling materials such as paper towel tubes, toilet paper tubes, shoe boxes, cereal boxes, plastic caps from juice bottles, and other recycled items you may have.
This week’s focus…
What kind of clothes do we have to wear during the winter? (Continued)
Natural sciences: We made a snowman outside forming snowballs with our hands. We discussed what happens when we do not have the appropriate gloves.
Mathematics: We are continuing to practice recognizing quantities instantaneously in groups of five or more. We are also practicing to create or copy an AAB-AAB pattern.
Help your child….
Draw a snowman. Ask the following: How many circles are needed to form the body? (3) How many branches do they need to for the arms? How many buttons? (5) How many noses? (1) How many dots for the mouth? (4) Encourage your child to represent each quantity with his/her fingers.
